IMPORTANT NOTICE:

8:00 am - 12:30 pm Monday - Friday Eastern Time

Continuing SpecsIntact development is jointly funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC). This product is distributed freely to reduce costs of doing business with the government through standardization of construction specifications. Technical Support is freely available to the extent the government funding will allow.

This web site provides you with answers to technical questions, procedures and user tools for performing common tasks, which can be accessed through the Help Center. If you are unable to get the answers you need, see the Points of Contact listed below for the respective agency in order to get assistance outside these hours:

SpecsIntact offers a variety of support tools to assist users.

Use the Help Center button at the top left to access the central location for all our help tools, or use the individual links to take you directly to the help source you want.

In addition, assistance is always available from within SpecsIntact by using the Help menu and buttons. The Help menu is also the gateway to QuickTours, our short introductions that provide overviews of the basic functions of SpecsIntact.

If you encounter a problem you can't solve after checking these sources, SpecsIntact offers customer support via email, fax and phone -- see the links at the left.

Note regarding email support -- It's important that you use the tech support email address for questions or requests for assistance. Even if you've worked with a tech support specialist in the past, using an individual's email address may delay your response if that person is not in the office.

By using specsintact@jbosc.ksc.nasa.gov, your request will be seen by the whole support staff, ensuring a speedy response. You can still direct it to a particular tech support specialist by putting their name in the subject line of the email.

Note regarding phone support -- The phone system at the Kennedy Space Center (home of SpecsIntact) routes support calls in the following manner:

When all available Technical Support personnel are handling other calls, the system will place the next incoming call on hold.  When a Support line opens up, the system will automatically transfer the holding caller to the free line for assistance.

This 'next up' hold mode will only allow one caller at a time to wait, and will route any subsequent callers directly to voice mail.

If your call is placed on hold and you don't want to wait, you can hang up and email your question to Tech Support at specsintact@jbosc.ksc.nasa.gov.  Hanging up and dialing again is not advised since your call may go to hold again if there is no caller ahead of you waiting.

At this time, there is no option available to transfer from hold to voice mail.
