Please note that certain email
set-ups prevent our notices from getting through, and recently we have
been experiencing a large number of "undeliverable" replies
when our releases are sent. Two situations that we are aware of that may
cause this are as follows:
-
Some companies block any
messages with the mailing list addresses on the "bcc" line
in order to avoid spam. At this time, we use the bcc line to keep
our entire list from displaying on the notices.
-
Some providers have at
times blocked messages from NASA email addresses.
There may be other situations
as well that we are not aware of at this time. Due to the size of our
list, we cannot resend returned notices individually, and repeated undeliverable
email addresses will be dropped from the list. If for some reason you
are not able to receive the release notices, you can check our web site's
home page headline area frequently for important news, release notices
and developments.
