SpecsIntact Lite runs without requiring an installation! It is intended for users who have restricted permissions which prevents them from installing the regular version of SpecsIntact.
SpecsIntact Lite uses all the same files as other SpecsIntact versions, so you can use different SI versions interchangeably.
SpecsIntact Lite Instructions
To use SpecsIntact Lite, create a SpecsIntact or SpecsIntact Lite folder under Documents. Once the folder has been created, unzip the files into the newly created folder.
DoD Customers
To use SpecsIntact Lite, create a SpecsIntact or SpecsIntact Lite folder on your C: Drive, outside of the user profile, to ensure it functions properly. Once the folder has been created, unzip the files into the newly created folder.
Using the SI Lite Version
Open Windows File Explorer, browse to the SpecsIntact or SpecsIntact Lite folder you created, and double-click on the SpecsIntact shortcut. The first time SpecsIntact runs, you will need to accept the User Agreement. Additionally, click "Yes" when SpecsIntact offers to create desktop shortcuts.
Please note: Unlike other shortcuts, the SpecsIntact Lite shortcuts will not work if they are copied to another folder.
SpecsIntact PDF Printer
The SpecsIntact PDF feature must be independently installed when using the SI Lite version of SpecsIntact. Options to install the SpecsIntact PDF printer are available in the SI Explorer by selecting Setup > 'Install SpecsIntact PDF Printer...'
