The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) united with the Army Corps of Engineers, (USACE) and the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) by joining the Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS), making this the primary database for all government agencies.

SpecsIntact 4.2.0.778 was released by the development team for download. SpecsIntact now supports MasterFormat™ 2004 and XML. The UFGS Working Group, made up of representatives from NASA, NAVFAC and USACE, met at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The Board convenes regularly to review requests for changes in the UFGS Database and sets the priorities and direction for the design of the guide specifications. The SPECSINTACT Interagency Configuration Control and Coordinating Board, made up of representatives from NASA, NAVFAC and USACE, met at Kennedy Space Center, FL. The Board convenes regularly to review requests for changes in the software and set the priorities and direction for the design of the system. See the SI--CCCB meeting minutes.
