SI Editor Edit Menu - Delete Added Revisions

This command can be executed from the Editor's Right-click Menu or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+T.

 

Removes <ADD></ADD> tagsSpecsIntact Tags are used to define key elements and attributes used control content and format as well as run processes and generate reports . These tags consist of an opening and closing tag. A tag -- either opening or closing, is used to mark the start or end of an element. Most tags consist of a beginning-tag <SEC> and ending tag </SEC>, but can also contain some empty-element tags such as <Page />. Tags are and the text between them that was previously designated to be added, as indicated by green underlining.  

 

Illustration Icon Indicating CautionActivating the command without any green underlined text selected will remove all the added text throughout the entire SectionA set of files within the Division of a Master or Job that covers specific aspects of construction., and remove the corresponding <ADD> Tags.  Activating the command with green underlined text selected will remove only the selected text (this command can be executed from the Illustration Icon Indicating Rick-Click Menu Right-click Menu).

 

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteYou can use the Edit > Undo Command to reverse the results of this function before the changes have been saved  or the Execute Revisions command has been used.

You have used the Revisions function to mark the following text for addition:

 

 

If you select the word "not" and click Edit > Delete Added Revisions or Illustration Icon Indicating Rick-Click Menu right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu and choose the same option, the result would be:

 

 

Illustration Icon Indicating Important Information To NoteThis function has no effect on any text marked for deletion by red strikethrough and located between the <DEL></DEL> tags -- see Undelete Redlined Revisions for that function.  In order to revert both Add and Delete functions at the same time, use Remove All Revisions.

In order to Delete Added Revisions,  you must do the following:

  1. From the Editor
  2. Highlight the Added text
  3. Right-click and choose Delete Added Revisions
