This command can be executed from the Editor's Toolbar or keyboard shortcut Ctrl+N.

 

When positioned between the TXTLST or ITM tagsSpecsIntact Tags are used to define key elements and attributes used control content and format as well as run processes and generate reports . These tags consist of an opening and closing tag. A tag -- either opening or closing, is used to mark the start or end of an element. Most tags consist of a beginning-tag <SEC> and ending tag </SEC>, but can also contain some empty-element tags such as <Page />. Tags are, this function will alternately add and remove the indentation amount.

By default, the command adds an indentation of - 0.33. To change the indentation value, use Format > Indentation Amount. The default setting for ITM and LST tags is used to produce a hanging indentation. It is recommend that you leave the default value setting unless you are using a font other than Courier New and need to change the setting in order to correctly produce a hanging indentation.

 

Illustration Icon Indicating StopYou cannot add the default indentation value of -0.33 to TXT tags, since it would cause these tags to print in the left margin of the document .

 

You may add a different indentation value to an individual instance.

Resetting Indentation Amount

  1. From the SI Editor
  2. Position the cursor inside either the TXTLST or ITM tags
  3. Right-clickTo press the right button of a mouse and release it to open a menu and select Attributes and choose Indent

  4. From the Tag window, enter the indentation value

  5. Select OK
